Gerontology Physiotherapy Australia (GPA)

Membership of Gerontology Physiotherapy Australia (GPA) is open to all APA members with an interest in working with older people in a variety of settings.

The GPA makes regular donations to the physiotherapy Research Foundation. These funds are available from time to time for research grants for projects related to physiotherapy for older people.

The GPA provides input to APA submissions to the Federal Government regarding aged care issues. These submissions are important in ensuring physiotherapy is included in all areas of care for older people.
