Correspondence to Journal of Physiotherapy should be sent to the Editor at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Correspondence is reviewed by the Scientific Editor and may be edited. Generally, correspondence falls into two categories: letters commenting on papers published in the journal, and retrospective case studies. Letters commenting on papers published in the journal are welcome. In general, such letters should be submitted soon after (within two months of) publication of the paper they refer to. Letters should be no more than 500 words and should contain no more than five references. Authors of the papers will usually be invited to reply. Retrospective case studies comprising descriptions of unusual or novel clinical cases are welcome. To be published, they should be of educational value to the profession and of broad interest. Case studies should: be no more than 1000 words, contain no more than 10 references, and have no more than two authors. Case studies should be accompanied by Consent to Publish signed by the patient where there is the potential for identification. See Paratz and Thomas (2008) AJP 54: 291–292 for an example.
