Joining the Australian Physiotherapy Association is easy!

Full member - You are eligible to be a member of the APA if you are registered as a physiotherapist in any State or Territory of Australia, or have been previously registered and not deregistered as a result of a disciplinary process, and there are special membership categories for overseas-based physiotherapists and those who have retired.

New Graduate - There is a special category for new graduates, who are eligible to join once they have completed their course of study. 

Physio Student - Physiotherapy students studying in Australia are eligible to join as student members.

Physiotherapy Assistants - exciting opportunity for Physiotherapy Assistants to become founding members in this new APA membership category - to join the Organisation representing the health area you have chosen to contribute to. 

Associate Member - Physiotherapists who have completed their entry level qualification outside Australia where the respective professional association is a member of the WCPT (World Confederation of Physical Therapists) and who are not eligible for membership under another category, are eligible to join the APA as an Associate Member.
