Keep up with the latest research and evidence-based practiceAPA members have easy access to the latest physiotherapy research through publications and online research databases, such as PEDro, the Physiotherapy Evidence Database. APA members have access to online scientific journals through the APA Library on the APA website, and the Association continues to expand its range of authoritative Clinical Guidelines and Position Statements. APA members also receive an automatic subscription to Australian Journal of Physiotherapy. With a 2006 Impact Factor of 1.87, AJP is one of the world’s top physiotherapy journals and is the APA’s flagship publication. Members can apply for funding through the Physiotherapy Research Foundation (PRF). Established in 1988, the PRF helps foster research in all aspects of physiotherapy and works with the National Groups to build evidence and improve clinical outcomes.
