APA Member

An APA member is a physiotherapist with a broad skill set in the full scope of physiotherapy.

APA Titled Member

A Titled Member of one of the APA's National Groups has demonstrated advanced skills in a particular area of physiotherapy and has usually completed a higher qualification (or equivalent) in that area.

APA Specialist

A Specialist Physiotherapist has highly developed skills in a specialised area and has passed the examinations set by the Australian College of Physiotherapists.

Quality in Practice (QIP/Accredited Practice)

A practice with QIP Accreditation is required to meet the Australian Physiotherapy Association’s standards, maintained by QIP, for:
-  Quality management
-  Staff management and support
-  Professional conduct
-  Organisation and quality care
-  Safety of facilities and equipment

EPC - Medicare

This practice is eligible and prepared to treat patients under the Medicare program including past Enhanced Primary Care and Chronic Disease Management plans.

HICAPS

This practice accepts electronic payments through the HICAPS system.

Health point

This practice accepts electronic payments through the IBA Health system.

DVA - Department of Veteran Affairs

This practice treats Department of Veteran Affairs patients.

Motor Accident

This practice treats patients under motor accident schemes of the state and territory.
