National Physiotherapy Service Descriptors

In 2001/2 the APA developed its comprehensive National Physiotherapy Service Descriptors in order to give members appropriate guidance on how to appropriately determine their own fees. This takes into account their level of expertise, the type of service delivered and the location of service.

In 2010/11, the National Physiotherapy Service Descriptors were redrafted by Physiotherapy Business Australia in collaboration with the APA's National Advisory Council. In order to provide APA members with an enhanced understanding of the items there-in, a background paper has been compiled to provide guidance on interpretation of the Descriptors.
