To register onlineUse the PD search facility on the website to locate the course you wish to attend. If the course has online registrations enabled, members will have a register online link available. Online registration is the fastest way for members to confirm their place.
To register by fax/postNot a member? Complete an event registration form and forward with payment to your APA branch office. The PD event registration form is available as a PDF document, which can be downloaded from the website or by contacting your local branch on 1300 306 622.
Download the event registration form PaymentsFor fax or online registrations: Payment is made by Credit Card (Diners, Visa, MasterCard, and Bankcard). Postal registrations: Payment can be made Credit Card or by cheque payable to the Australian Physiotherapy Association. Please note: Payment is not accepted on the day. All courses and lectures require advance registration. Conditions of enrolmentEnrolments are accepted on the following basis: Registration: Online registration is the simplest way to secure your place. Telephone bookings will not be accepted. Advice concerning remaining places in any activity does not guarantee a place, as that information is subject to continual change. Registration will not be accepted without payment. Places are allocated according to the date that an application form and payment are received to the APA, unless otherwise indicated in the advertisement. The APA reserves the right to cancel or change an activity to an alternative date without notice. When this is the case, all registered participants will be offered the opportunity to transfer to the next available event, or elect to receive a full credit or refund for monies paid. The APA is not responsible for other associated expenses. Registration is transferable. If transferring your registration, or you wish to cancel your registration, please contact your PD Officer in writing. You may be subject to a cancellation fee. Courses: In most cases course registration closes two weeks prior to the commencement date. It is the participant's responsibility to ensure that they meet any prerequisites as stated in the course outline. It is the participant's responsibility to ensure they have current physiotherapy registration in Australia. A Student is not permitted to register in a course which includes practical components. Cancellation: More than 14 calendar days prior to an event start date, a participant may: substitute attendee, transfer to a different event (of equal value or difference to be paid), request a credit note for monies paid, apply for a refund of monies paid ($27.50 fee applies for cheque refunds). 14 to 8 calendar days prior to an event start date a participant may: substitute attendee, transfer to a different event (of equal value or difference to be paid ), request a credit note to be raised for monies paid (less $27.50 cancellation fee). 7 calendar days or less prior to an event start date a participant may: substitute attendee, NO refund applies. The APA requires that all participants hold current personal professional liability insurance if the activity includes practical components. The APA recommends that all participants hold current travel insurance when they are participating interstate. Advertised prices are available to APA members only. Non-members may attend professional development activities for an additional 50% levy on this price. Membership must be current at the time of the professional development event.

The provision of this information is voluntary but if this information is not provided, the APA may be unable to process your registration.
